Grace Nuri is a Research Intern at the Center for News, Technology & Innovation. Before joining CNTI, Grace was an Associate Intern with Laurel Strategies, a geopolitical advisory firm based in DC where she focused on technology & misinformation policy.
Grace has also held a variety of humanitarian positions, most notably serving as a project director at Collateral Repair Project, a refugee community center in Jordan, where she ran the Community Art Project promoting graphic design & storytelling education for young Iraqi and Syrian refugees.
She is pursuing a B.A. in Arabic and Computational Linguistics along with an M.A. in Arab Studies & Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where her proposed thesis explores Gulf and North African regulation of media and information and its impact on independent media outlets and technology startups.
