Ongoing Event Series
Journalism & AI is CNTI’s ongoing event series that brings together journalists, researchers, technologists, and policymakers to examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping the news industry. From tools that expand storytelling and streamline reporting to emerging threats like deepfakes, misinformation, and cybersecurity risks, AI is transforming the way news is produced, distributed, and trusted, raising urgent questions for both the press and the public. Each convening explores both the opportunities and the harms—how AI can strengthen democracy, trust, and reporting, while also surfacing ethical dilemmas, vulnerabilities, and unintended consequences. Partnering with organizations such as the Thomson Foundation, the series connects diverse voices in global settings, from Sarajevo to other hubs of innovation and debate. These conversations create space for collaboration and forward-looking solutions that safeguard journalism’s role in serving the public good.
