Amy Mitchell, CNTI’s Executive Director attended the Abraji International Congress of Investigative Journalism and delivered talks about journalistic independence and safety and the Center’s “Defining News” initiative.

CNTI’s Executive Director, Amy Mitchell, and Senior Research Fellow, Connie Moon Sehat, attended ISOJ in Austin, Texas to host a workshop on defining news and present on a panel about global journalism legislation.

CNTI led a panel on creating a global approach to safeguarding journalists’ digital safety and a listening session on pressing issues facing the region at AIJC’s 19th annual conference.
