In January 2026, CNTI hosted a virtual gathering with members of the local U.S. news media and those from Europe, Latin America, Africa and elsewhere aroudn the world to talk about how press freedoms are in jeopardy and what can be done to protect them. These practitioners shared their experiences, past and present, to learn from each other, build solidarity and forge a path forward.
